Dragonscale

Summary

Dragonscale is basically two European 4 in 1 weaves interwoven in such a way that each row contains two European 4 in 1 rows laying in the opposite direction to each other. The only way to make this possible is the use of two different ring sizes. The smaller ring's outer diameter needs to be smaller than the larger ring's inner diameter in most cases, with minimal exceptions where there is only a very small difference of a few thousandths of an inch.

Please note: Listed AR considerations and recommendations involve large and small rings made of the same wire size, even though the weave potentially could be made with rings of different wire sizes.
