European 4 in 1

Summary

European 4 in 1 is one of the most popular chainmail weaves in existence. It is what the majority of armour from the European middle ages was made out of. Every ring in this weave passes through four others. It is a sheet weave in which each adjacent row lays in the opposite direction to its predecessor, to which it is linked. It has many uses in modern applications, such as armour, fashion, jewelry, inlays, etc.
